Fleet Coordinator

Our client is a progressive transport and logistics company, who from an increase in workload are looking to grow their internal team. An opportunity for an Experienced Fleet and Logistics Coordinator to step into a full time, permanent position has come forward. 

Duties:
  • Job scheduling and coordination of trucks/jobs to deliver domestic freight, including shipping containers in the Perth metro areas, with occasional rural destinations.
  • Client communication to ensure management of job requests and requirements.
  • Monitoring of vessel and cargo availability and job requirement schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Maximising utilisation of fleet and maintain cost control.
  • Adhering to driver fatigue management and correct compliance verification.
The ideal candidate:
  • Must have strong experience in a transport coordination environment.
  • Possess Container chain and 1-Stop knowledge.
  • Will be able to work in a team and have excellent communication skills.
  • Strong customer service background, with focus on business to client communication.
  • Can handle a fast-paced and changing working environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.

Location and Benefits

Monday – Friday. Fulltime Permanent role $75K - $90K (+Super) depending on experience. SOR Location. Established company with large current and future work load.
