Mechanic Operator (On & Offshore)

My client who is based South of the River provide an elaborate range of air compressors, steam generators, steam heat exchangers, sand filters, coflexip hoses and air treatment ancillaries to both on and offshore facilities.

They are currently looking to appoint a permanent full-time, qualified Mechanic to operate, maintain, service, repair and modify the company’s on and offshore equipment.

This is not your average Offshore role, as you would be based locally here in Bibra Lake working excellent work/life balance hours; 6:30am – 2:30pm, Mon – Fri.  Your base salary whilst working these hours will be $89,125 + super however there will be a call for you to perform offshore duties from time to time, my client is indicating 20-40% of your working year.  In this instance you would then be paid in addition to your salary a further day rate of $250.  Should you work over a weekend or a public holiday, you will get this back in time in lieu.

This company have had longevity in the workplace and a very stable work history.  This is a role that would suit someone who is not necessarily chasing a FIFO roster and huge $$ but more someone who is looking for a great life balance and stable employment with mature and like-minded people.
To be successful you will need to have previously been in the offshore game and ideally have the following:
  • BOSIET and MSIC
  • Able to pass an OGUK Medical
  • Mechanical trade qualified (Australian recognised)
  • Strong OH&S focus
If you feel as though you would be a good fit for this role, please send your resume to holly.ryan@pearlrecruitmentgroup.com.au or hit the “apply now” button. Interviews will take place after Easter.
